The international journal Food Science and Applied Biotechnology uses Platinum open access. This means permanent and free access to published scientific works for readers with no publication fees for the authors – 100% free. All articles are published under the CC BY4.0 license.
Authors are not charged any article processing fees or publication fees. Authors retain copyright of their work and allow it to be shared and reused provided that it is correctly cited.
Readers anywhere in the world may download, share or use the work free of charge.
All article publication costs for articles published in Food Science and Applied Biotechnology are completely funded by the Academic Publishing House of University of Food Technologies – Plovdiv, a structure part of the University of Food Technologies, Plovdiv, Bulgaria. ACCESS
The journal offers platinum open access which means permanent and 100% free open access to published scientific papers free of charge for both readers and authors. All articles are published under the most flexible reusable standard - the CC BY 4.0 license.
ARCHIVING
In case the journal is no longer published, electronic archiving and preservation of access will be offered as open access on the website of the University of Food Technology - Plovdiv.
REVENUE SOURCES
The source of income (e.g. the provision of funds for pre-press preparation and online publication of the articles, subscription, advertising, reprints, institutional support and organizational support) is provided by the university research budget. It is voted annually by the Parliament of the Republic of Bulgaria and is guaranteed by the Bulgarian Government. Due to the fact that the journal offers platinum free access only and does not collect any fees for publication, cases of refusal to publish do not have any impact on editorial decisions.
