Dr. P. Raviraj

Dr.P.Raviraj completed his doctorate degree in Computer Science and Engineering in the area of Image Processing. He holds a position of Professor & Head in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering at GSSS Institute of Engineering & Technology for Women, Mysore, Karnataka. He has 20 years of teaching and research experience. He has published more than 94 papers in International journals and conferences. Five research scholars have completed their Ph.D under his guidance in various universities. At present he has guiding the Ph.D. research scholars in the areas of Image Processing, Pervasive & Cloud computing, Bio-Inspired Algorithms and Robotics etc. He has received the project grant Rs.5 Lakhs from the VGST, Govt. of Karnataka for the “Underwater Robotic Fish for Surveillance and Pollution monitoring”. He has filed the patent entitled as “An effective ROI based Hybrid Progressive Medical Image Transmission and Reconstruction” in the year 2021. He is serving as Ph.D thesis Adjudicator, Doctor Committee member and Subject experts for various universities. He has been served as a chair person and keynote speakers of many National and International Conferences. He has served as the Lead Guest Editor for the special issue titled "Advances in Computational Approaches for Image Processing, Wireless Networks, Cloud Applications and Network Security" in the SN Computer Science Journal from 2022 to 2024 (Special issue closed as on October 2024). During this tenure, we successfully attracted and facilitated the review and publication of 230 articles, significantly contributing to the advancement of knowledge in these critical areas. He is also a life member of professional bodies like ISTE, CSI etc. He has received the awards and recognitions such as ‘Rhastriya Gaurav Award-2015’, ‘Shri P.K.Das Memorial Best Faculty Award-2012’, ‘Young Achiever Award-2016’, ‘Best Circuit Faculty Finalist Award-2017’ in his credit.

Dr. Jingshan Huang

Dr. Jingshan Huang is a Professor at the Biomedical Informatics Group housed in the School of Computing at the University of South Alabama (South). He also a Professor in South College of Medicine. In May 2007, he received the Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of South Carolina, under Dr. Michael N. Huhns.
My research areas are Data Science and Computational Life Science in general; in particular, the semantics and analysis of data as well as their innovative applications on human genomics and transcriptomics.

Dr. Maode Ma

Prof. Maode Ma, a Fellow of IET, received his Ph.D. degree from the Department of Computer Science at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 1999. Now, Prof. Ma is a Research Professor in the College of Engineering at Qatar University in Qatar. Before joining Qatar University, he has been a faculty member at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore for over 20 years. He has extensive research interests including network security and wireless networking. He has led 26 research projects funded by government, industry, military, and universities in various countries. He has supervised 25 research students to get their Ph. D degrees. He has been a conference chair, technical symposium chair, tutorial chair, publication chair, publicity chair, and session chair for over 100 international conferences. He has been a member of the technical program committees for more than 200 international conferences. Prof. Ma has more than 500 international academic publications including over 250 journal papers and about 250 conference papers. He has edited a few technical books and produced over 28 book chapters. His publication has received over 10,000 citations in Google Scholar. He has delivered over 90 keynote speeches and 10 tutorials at various international conferences. Prof. Ma currently serves as the Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Computer and Communication Engineering and the Journal of Communications. He also serves as a Senior Editor for IEEE Communications Surveys and Tutorials, and an Associate Editor for the International Journal of Wireless Communications and Mobile Computing and International Journal of Communication Systems. Prof. Ma is a senior member of the IEEE Communication Society and a member of ACM. He is now the Chair of the ACM, Singapore Chapter. He has been serving as an IEEE Communication Society Distinguished Lecturer from 2013 to 2016 and from 2023 to 2024.
